Teachers, students, and families are so grateful to ABC for helping with the purchase of student planners. One challenge that many of our highly capable children face is organization. Is something due? When is my presentation? I didn’t remember that we were having a book fair! What day is our assembly? Hopefully students will “write it down and be responsible to remember!” These attractive planners are also packed with many fun “extras” in the side bars… vocabulary, riddles, etc. Be sure to check the planner with your child on a regular basis. Online Bid – Bidders may submit a bid using the bidding forms available at www.questabc.org. Bids must be equal to or greater than the minimum bid amount. All bids must be made in full dollar amounts (no cents) and must be received between the opening, May 13^th at 8:00 AM, and closing of bidding, May 26^th at 4:00 PM. Each bid must contain the bidder’s first and last name, phone number, e-mail address, the auction item title, and the bid amount.

Our gift card fundraiser is one of the ways that ABC is working to try to get the most for our classrooms at the lowest cost to our supporters.  Your purchase of a $50 gift card to Safeway gets you a $50 card that you could use to buy groceries, and gets ABC a referral payment of 4% of your purchase amount.  Those referral payments have added up to thousands of dollars into our students’ classrooms.  If you plan to give gift cards this holiday season, this is a great opportunity to get your shopping done early while supporting highly capable programs in Puyallup.

This is how it works. You pay $50 for a gift card from Safeway. You will receive a $50 Safeway gift card, and 4% of the purchase price ($2) goes to ABC. Percentages vary for each retailer. You can buy movie tickets from AMC and 16% goes to ABC! You can use gift cards for your routine shopping and give to your child’s education without any extra money from your pocket. Gift cards make great presents for teachers and family.

Order forms were sent home with each student.  If you need a replacement, or an extra, you can download a copy of the order form here.  Fill out order form and return it with your payment to your child’s class on November 19th. A representative from ABC will pick up the orders from each class. Cards will be available before Christmas break. You can pay with cash, check or credit card.
