ABC will hold its first meeting of the 2009 – 2010 school year on Tuesday, September 8th, at 6:30 at Las Palomas Restaurant (located near the South Hill Mall). Everyone is welcome to attend. If you’ve never been a part of ABC before, but are curious to learn about who we are and what we do, here’s your chance. If you’d like to become a more active participant, this is the time to make your voice heard.

I was wondering if the meeting minutes will be posted online or emailed to us? I was unable to attend the meeting but would love to know what is going on and where I can help out!

Thanks for your interest! We always welcome new participants.
Approved minutes are posted on our Governance page (you can also find them by searching for “minutes” or a phrase like “September minutes”).
In the past, ABC has not posted unapproved minutes, resulting in a month’s delay before the minutes could be reviewed, approved, and posted. After reviewing our Standing Rules and Robert’s Rules of Order, I think it would be appropriate to post unapproved minutes as soon as practical after each meeting, marking them as unapproved and subject to amendment. I’ll work on posting the unapproved September minutes as soon as I can.
