We hope that everyone had a great summer and is ready for school to start. ABC is very excited about all the opportunities that the changes to the QUEST and PAGE programs will create for our children, but we’re aware that any change, particularly one of this size and scope, comes with challenges. We look forward to working with each of you to make 2009 – 2010 a great year for our children, our families, and our program. The more people we can get involved, the better our year will be.
If you’re reading this as an e-mail, you’re already subscribed to one of our mailing lists. Thank you! If you’re reading this from our website, and haven’t yet subscribed to one of our mailing lists, this is the perfect time to sign up. With the expansion of the QUEST program to eight QUEST Regional sites, and with Clustering Potential classes located at every elementary in the District, the costs of continuing to distribute paper copies of all ABC news would be prohibitive, and would result in us being able to dedicate less resources to our students and their classrooms at a time when they need those resources the most.
A subscription to our Weekly Digest Messages will provide a single weekly summary message delivered each weekend. A subscription to our Urgent News feed will deliver up to one high priority message each day to your inbox. You can choose to subscribe to one or both of our feeds using the small subscription forms located on the right side of the page, below the search option. Please take this opportunity to sign up for our mailing lists. We will no longer be using the manual mailing lists maintained by “AmyPrez” that many of you came to rely on last year, so please subscribe now. Please be sure to activate your subscription following the instructions that you’ll be sent after submitting your e-mail address. If you do not activate your subscription, you will not receive our messages.
