We’ve been busy putting the finishing touches on everything ABC was involved in this year. When we look back at where we were at the start of the year, and look ahead to where we’ll start the next school year, it hardly seems possible that so many things went our way. Our ability to win favorable treatment from the State Legislature in the face of overwhelming budget issues, and from the Puyallup School District in the midst of its own financial crisis, is a tribute to all the the volunteers who worked so hard for our children all year long. Thank you to our volunteers for your long hours of hard work, and to all of you who responded to our pleas for your phone calls and emails and speaking for your children when they needed it the most. ABC is very proud of all we accomplished this year, and we’re grateful to all of you for helping us make it all possible.
As the 2008 – 2009 school year enters its final week, we’re now looking forward to all we’ll need to work on for 2009 – 2010. We invite you to join us as we begin work on identifying those issues that will be most important for us in the year ahead. If you can’t make our meeting on Tuesday, please consider using our forum. See the news below for more details on both. We can’t succeed without your involvement.
